Andre Rodriguez is a student designer & director from McAllen Texas. He is currently studying interior design and theatre at Texas State University and will graduate in May 2028. He has worked as a technician working various jobs from carpentry, to light board op, to stage manager, to technical director for 25 productions, 10 of which he designed for. He has also helped produce two short films, one of which ranked first in the state for the UIL Young Filmmakers Competition. Andre is a state and nationally recognized artist, being a scholar of the Majestic Empire Foundation in San Antonio, and the Cody Renard Richard Scholarship Program in New York City. He plans on graduating with a BS in interior design followed by an MFA in Scene Design, with the intent to become a professional theatre artist.
